In 2009, 12 Stone Church sponsored an IMPACT! family in need.

Read how their involvement helped transform the family's life.

At any given time, The IMPACT! Group works with 22 homeless families in Gwinnett County to give them the resources and skills they need to become independent again. Because each family's situation is unique, we need the involvement of our community to support these worthy families and their children. All homeless families in our program must meet rigorous requirements to enter and stay in our program, so your direct support will make an effective difference in a family's life.

Sponsors may provide a range of supplemental services or materials to our families, including job search assistance or preparation, food/ basic material assistance, or financial assistance for specific items like car repairs, education, or medical costs. IMPACT! staff will work with you to identify the resources a family may need and help you determine what you can do as part of your sponsorship.

This opportunity is ideal for a religious or civic group seeking to build a longer-term relationship with a homeless family in the community.
