The IMPACT! Group recognizes that an educated homebuyer makes for a better homeownership experience. Because of that, we offer regular group classes to help you decide whether you're ready to buy a home. You will learn about budgeting, planning, and the steps to take when purchasing a home. Through our classes, you may even qualify for down payment assistance to help you get into the home of your dreams!

Down Payment Assistance is Available!

The IMPACT! Group is proud to partner with a number of down payment assistance programs to help you move into the home of your dreams. Each program has different sponsors and eligibility requirements. However, each is designed to give you the needed education to make informed decisions regarding your home purchase.

        Individual Counseling

There are many steps involved in buying a home. Credit checks, income histories, and loan approvals can become a dizzying process for the new homebuyer.

The IMPACT! Group offers FREE individualized counseling to potential homeowners. Our HUD-trained housing counselors will help you through the steps to begin buying a home and can help you avoid the pitfalls that others have made when considering loan types and expenses. Because our counselors are not affiliated with any private business, they can give you an honest assessment of your situation.

We welcome you contacting our office to set up an appointment to meet with a housing counselor about your homebuying needs. Please know, however, that you may be asked to first complete a group homebuyer class before meeting with a housing counselor.
