Internship & Volunteer Opportunities
Looking to make a difference in the community? We have several opportunities for volunteers with a wide range of interests and talents to help us transform lives and strengthen our communities. Short- and long-term projects are available.
Home Ownership Center

Education Programs Assistant:
- Prepare educational packages for classes (Orientations, Home Buyer, Financial Fitness, and Home Owner Workshops).
- Assist Education Coordinator during workshops.
- Follow up with workshop attendees and other HOC customers.
MIS Assistant:
- Create our MySpace page.
- Prepare reports using Crystal Report Writer software.
- Update data for Donor Perfect software.
General Office Assistant:
- Assist with mailings, office organizing, and report preparation.
Transitional Housing

Client In-Take Assistant or Intern:
- Phone screenings for potential participants; provides case management for assigned case loads. Facilitates targeted case managment for emergency housing customers. Bi-lingual skills very helpful.
(We have a LMSW on staff who can provide supervision to students in social work programs).
