                            About our Home
      Foreclosure Prevention Services

The IMPACT! Group has over 15 years of experience in assisting homeowners who are behind on their mortgages. As a nonprofit agency, we do not provide rental, financial, or utility assistance to homeowners*. Rather, we can provide you with the resources, education, and guidance to assess your financial situation and possibly work with your lender to save your home. Because each homeowner has a unique situation, we cannot guarantee that we can save your home. However, an IMPACT! housing counselor will work with you to help guide you through your options and find the best resolution for you and your family.

IMPACT! housing counselors have received training from the U.S. Department of Urban Development, and our agency is a chartered member of NeighborWorks America, a congressionally formed nationwide agency of community-based assistance agencies. When you come to us for help, you will receive honest guidance from a trained professional in the housing field.

*Please Note: If you are looking for assistance with utilities, rent payments, or medical care, please call the Gwinnett Helpline at 770-995-3339. They have a free database of other assistance agencies that may be able to help you.

         To Begin the Foreclosure
           Prevention Process...

If you are behind on your house payments and would like to seek help from an IMPACT! housing counselor, the first step is to complete an online Foreclosure Counseling Form. This confidential form will ask you detailed questions about your financial situation, including your income and expenses. After you submit the form online, it will be sent to an IMPACT! housing counselor who will review your information. Depending on your specific situation, you may be requested to either register for a group class OR to schedule a meeting directly with a counselor.

Complete the IMPACT! Foreclosure Intake Form.
